GOVERNMENT RENAMES VISA ON ARRIVAL TO E TOURIST VISA

To avoid confusion among International travellers, the Union Home Ministry has changed the name of the Tourist on Arrival scheme to e-Tourist Visa as it entails applying online for Visa before visiting India. In order to avoid further confusion, the home ministry has decided to change the name of the scheme to e-Tourist Visa (eTV) before the scheme is extended to more countries.
