Hike in Entrance Fees at Monuments
India boasts of 32 World Heritage Sites – 25 cultural & 7 natural. The Archaeological society of India (ASI) has raised its Entrance Fees at monuments. Fees have been doubled at most of the principal monuments. The hike has been effected after almost 15 years. Effective from 01st April 2016  – though still very nominal by world standards!!
